Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor of Legal Writing

Responsibilities

• Teach legal writing courses to law students at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law
• Prepare and inspire students to master the theory and experiential skills necessary for legal practice
• Engage in scholarly activities; scholarship is encouraged and eligible for summer research stipends
• Contribute to a diverse scholarly community committed to student success and intellectual discovery

Requirements

• JD degree
• Bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction
• Demonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and analysis
• Strong oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching legal writing
