About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) curriculum with a focus on pharmaceutical sciences
  • Teach didactic courses in biomedical sciences, including anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and integrated pharmacotherapy
  • Maintain an active research and scholarly agenda within your area of expertise
  • Engage students in faculty-mentored research opportunities
  • Serve on College and University committees to support institutional goals
  • Collaborate with practice faculty and colleagues across healthcare disciplines in an interprofessional environment

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Demonstrated understanding of pharmacy curriculum related to pharmaceutical sciences
  • Proven record of teaching and research excellence
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles and levels of learners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialization in pharmacology
  • Professional degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
  • Experience with innovative educational platforms and educational technology
