About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach and develop graduate-level public health courses using innovative instructional strategies in face-to-face and online environments.
- Advise and mentor graduate students, providing guidance on research projects and applied practice experiences.
- Maintain an active research agenda, including peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations.
- Integrate applied public health practice into teaching, research, and service activities.
- Establish collaborative relationships with community organizations, governmental agencies, and external stakeholders.
- Participate in departmental and university service, including curriculum development and accreditation activities.
Requirements
- Doctorate (DrPH or PhD) in Public Health or a closely related field.
- Master of Public Health (MPH) or equivalent professional degree.
- Demonstrated teaching and research expertise in core public health areas (e.g., Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy).
- Experience in public health practice and the ability to mentor graduate students.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in Health Policy and Management, including policy analysis, health systems, or public health law.
- Professional experience in governmental, non-governmental, academic, or community-based settings.
- A proven record of peer-reviewed scholarship or externally funded research.
- Experience with interdisciplinary initiatives, including One Health approaches.
