Requirements
PhD in Political Science preferred, DPA with American government teaching qualifications considered, Primary field in United States Government, Experience in Public Administration or Public Policy desired
About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach four courses per semester (three if serving as department chair)
- Hold office hours for student advising and mentoring
- Engage in curriculum and program development
- Participate in departmental and university governance structures
- Maintain active involvement in scholarly activities
- Play a key role in the development of graduate programs
Requirements
- PhD in Political Science strongly preferred
- DPA with qualifications to teach American government will be considered
- Primary field of expertise must be United States Government
- Experience in Public Administration or Public Policy is desired
