Assistant/Associate Professor of Intelligence Studies

Responsibilities

• Teach intelligence courses to students in the Global Security and Intelligence program, including international relations, US foreign policy, and intelligence analysis.
• Deliver instruction on the intelligence community, strategic intelligence, the intelligence cycle, writing, and briefing.
• Maintain a teaching focus, typically managing a load of four courses per semester.
• Provide university service through student mentoring and committee participation.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in intelligence studies, security studies, political science, international relations, or a related field.
• 5 years of professional work experience as an intelligence analyst within the intelligence community or military.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching upper and lower-level undergraduate courses.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior professional experience working directly within the intelligence community.
