Assistant-Associate Professor of Exercise Science

Responsibilities

• Teach lower and upper-division undergraduate exercise science courses
• Assist students with academic advising and curriculum guidance
• Prepare course syllabi that meet student and university requirements
• Participate in program assessments and course evaluations for continuous improvement
• Support recruitment efforts by participating in university events and communicating with prospective students
• Maintain professional relationships with program alumni
• Collaborate on curriculum design and materials development for the Exercise Science program
• Participate in faculty and campus committees and attend university meetings

Requirements

• Master's degree in exercise science (Doctoral degree preferred)
• Ability to perform teaching, administrative, and clerical duties independently
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work collaboratively within a department and university setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in exercise science
• Experience teaching at a higher education institution
