About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned biology courses, including lectures and laboratories, and develop upper-level electives aligned with expertise.
  • Establish and maintain a vigorous, externally funded research program.
  • Conduct independent and collaborative research projects and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
  • Mentor and advise both undergraduate and graduate students in biology and computational methods.
  • Pursue intramural and extramural funding to support research activities.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and departmental meetings.
  • Utilize innovative pedagogy and technology to enhance student engagement and instructional excellence.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Developmental Biology or a closely related discipline.
