Assistant/Associate Professor in Healthcare Management and Leadership

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in business, leadership, and technology for healthcare (35-40% load)
• Teach basic biology and medical science-related subjects (35-40% load)
• Engage in program development, administration, and recruiting (10-25% load)
• Provide institutional service including committee work and student academic advising/mentoring
• Integrate Christian faith with academic disciplines in a compelling and thoughtful manner
• Collaborate with faculty and staff across departments to support program growth

Requirements

• Earned terminal degree, preferably in business or a health-related natural science field
• At least one graduate degree in business or an equivalent field
• Professional experience in the healthcare industry
• Ability to teach undergraduate biology
• Strong Christian faith with a deep commitment to its expression in personal and professional life
• Ability to affirm and support the Mission, Vision, and Statement of Faith of Montreat College

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching in a Christian higher education setting
• Experience in program development or leadership within an academic environment
