Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, Tenure-Track and Program Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the APA-accredited Clinical Psychology Psy.D. program using a practitioner-scholar model.
• Manage teaching responsibilities, including clinical supervision and dissertation mentoring.
• Oversee program administration, including staffing, workload budgets, and financial management.
• Lead the accreditation process, including annual reports, self-studies, and site visits.
• Oversee the annual admissions process and the Psychological Services Center training clinic.
• Support faculty research efforts and assist in securing extramural funding.
• Provide academic advisement and engage in program activities and events.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
• 5+ years of academic teaching experience.
• 5+ years of leadership or administrative experience.
• Licensed or license eligible psychologist in New York State.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in psychodynamic psychotherapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, or personality assessment.
• Proven record of scholarly activity, including peer-reviewed research and grant writing.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within a doctoral program.
