Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, Liaison and Lead Vet

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development and monitoring of the community-based clinical hospital model and industry partnerships.
• Provide oversight for all assessment and evaluation activities for the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM).
• Supervise the planning, coordination, and delivery of designated clinical courses and graduate programs.
• Manage the logistical and operational aspects of the distributed veterinary learning community.
• Develop, recruit, and monitor community-based clinical hospitals and industry partners.
• Conduct regular visits to clinical partners to support locations and report on safety and educational environments.
• Implement creative solutions to assess and improve students' clinical competencies.
• Participate in university committees, national meetings, and community outreach programs.

Requirements

• Veterinary Medical degree (DVM) from an AVMA accredited college or school.
• Ability to travel to various clinical sites locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and general computer applications.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a clinical department discipline.
• Specialty board certification.
• Experience with E-Value software.
