About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and didactic teaching in Large Animal Medicine pre-clinical and clinical courses
- Supervise the Production Animal Medicine clinical clerkship and participate in ambulatory services
- Support Veterinary Skills courses offered throughout the DVM program
- Engage in curriculum development and the creation of innovative learning resources
- Participate in university committee service, such as admissions, curriculum, or research committees
- For tenure track faculty: develop independent or collaborative research to contribute to the College's scholarly goals
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Demonstrated expertise in Large Animal Medicine
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty board certification or eligibility from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM - Large Animal)
- Specialty board certification or eligibility from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners
