Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Equine Medicine

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and didactic teaching in equine medicine courses and equine laboratories
• Engage in curriculum development and the creation of innovative learning resources
• Participate in university committee service, including admissions, curriculum, and research committees
• For tenure-track faculty: develop independent or collaborative research in the field of equine veterinary medicine
• Promote the College's mission of academic excellence and service to stakeholders

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree
• Demonstrated expertise in equine medicine
• Working knowledge of curricular design and implementation
• Ability to interact effectively with university administration, faculty, students, and alumni

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty board certification or eligibility by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM LA) or equivalent
• Advanced training in equine medicine or equine research
• MS or PhD degree
