Assistant/Associate Athletic Trainer

Responsibilities

• Administer proper care, prevention, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for NCAA Div. III student-athletes
• Provide athletic training coverage for practices and home events (no travel required)
• Assist with the preparticipation process, athletic medical clearance, and documentation
• Collaborate with strength & conditioning and mental health staff to provide holistic student-athlete support
• Supervise athletic training room student workers, manage supplies, and assist with budgeting
• Work closely with the team physician and outside medical personnel
• Maintain high regard for student privacy in accordance with FERPA policies
• Ensure compliance with NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules

Requirements

• Master's degree
• BOC certification (or eligibility to sit for the BOC examination)
• Illinois State Licensure (or eligibility)
• Valid driver's license
