About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive business across assigned Modern Trade chains including Reliance Retail, DMart, More Retail, Spencer’s, Star Bazaar, and Lulu
  • Drive achievement of sales KPIs including primary sales, secondary sales, range selling, visibility, and off-take growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with category managers, buyers, distributors, and store teams
  • Ensure effective execution of promotions, activations, visibility campaigns, and merchandising initiatives
  • Drive distribution expansion and improve product availability across Modern Trade outlets in the assigned region
  • Monitor stock availability, replenishment cycles, fill rates, and inventory health
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure execution excellence and identify growth opportunities
  • Analyze sales performance and present account-level reviews to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in Modern Trade within the Food or FMCG industry
  • Strong understanding of Modern Trade operations and sales execution
  • Prior experience handling Modern Trade chains in Andhra Pradesh is preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
