About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive business across assigned Modern Trade chains including Reliance Retail, DMart, More Retail, Spencer’s, Star Bazaar, and Lulu.
  • Drive achievement of sales KPIs including primary sales, secondary sales, range selling, visibility, and off-take growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with category managers, buyers, distributors, and store teams.
  • Ensure effective execution of promotions, activations, visibility campaigns, merchandising initiatives, and new product launches.
  • Drive distribution expansion and improve product availability across Modern Trade outlets in the assigned region.
  • Monitor stock availability, replenishment cycles, fill rates, and inventory health across accounts.
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure execution excellence and identify business growth opportunities.
  • Analyze sales performance, generate business insights, and present account-level reviews to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, finance, and distributor teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and market trends.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in Modern Trade within the Food or FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of Modern Trade operations and sales execution.
  • Prior experience handling Modern Trade chains in Andhra Pradesh is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
