About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and drive business across assigned Modern Trade chains including Reliance Retail, DMart, More Retail, Spencer’s, Star Bazaar, and Lulu.
- Drive achievement of sales KPIs including primary sales, secondary sales, range selling, visibility, and off-take growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with category managers, buyers, distributors, and store teams.
- Ensure effective execution of promotions, activations, visibility campaigns, merchandising initiatives, and new product launches.
- Drive distribution expansion and improve product availability across Modern Trade outlets in the assigned region.
- Monitor stock availability, replenishment cycles, fill rates, and inventory health across accounts.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure execution excellence and identify business growth opportunities.
- Analyze sales performance, generate business insights, and present account-level reviews to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, finance, and distributor teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Track competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and market trends.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience in Modern Trade within the Food or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of Modern Trade operations and sales execution.
- Prior experience handling Modern Trade chains in Andhra Pradesh is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
