About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in scholarship, teaching, and service functions within the College of Pharmacy
- Teach within the graduate pharmaceutics program (M.S. & Ph.D.) and the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program
- Conduct scholarly research and collaborate with researchers both on and off campus
- Seek and obtain extramural funding to support research programs
- Develop research programs with a focus on translational pharmaceutics and addressing unmet therapeutic needs
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics
- Proven track record of scholarly research and peer-reviewed publications
- Demonstrated potential for attracting extramural funding
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- B.S. degree in pharmacy
- Prior teaching experience at a college of pharmacy or similar program
- Multidisciplinary experience or interest in translational pharmaceutics
- Experience or interest in drug discovery and development utilizing AI and data analytics
