About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the administration and operation of the NIL program, including evaluating and negotiating licensing agreements for student-athletes.
- Utilize data models and predictive analytics to project market value and identify optimal brand alignment opportunities.
- Implement AI tools and machine learning algorithms to automate talent discovery, track social media trends, and perform sentiment analysis.
- Oversee the NIL lifecycle, including contract negotiation, payment management, and auditing deal deliverables.
- Ensure strict compliance with NCAA, state laws, and institutional policies through diligent monitoring and disclosure management.
- Provide strategic guidance and administrative support to coaches and staff as a sport supervisor or departmental leader.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of education for Assistant AD level).
- For Assistant AD: Minimum of 5 years of experience in athletic administration.
- For Associate AD: Minimum of 7 years of experience in athletic administration.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools and AI-driven marketing software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or JD) in Sports Management, Data Science, Business, or Law.
- Professional experience in a sports agency, collegiate NIL management, or sports marketing.
