Assistant Accounts Officer

Responsibilities

• Handle accounting records and general ledger for SMC and assigned vessels according to standards and owner requirements
• Manage prompt settlement of all vessel accounts and payments, including crew payroll
• Process all accounting entries and provide monthly accounting reconciliations
• Assist in internal and external audits by gathering and providing required data and information

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in the accounting field
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• High attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Ability to adapt to changing environments
