Assistant Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts including sales, collections, expenses, payables, general ledger, assets, and intercompany transactions
• Assist the Financial Controller in managing day-to-day finance and accounting operations in Thailand
• Prepare and reconcile monthly sales cut-offs and provide reports to ensure compliance with local and corporate requirements
• Manage monthly VAT and Corporate Income Tax Returns (PND 50)
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to align with financial goals
• Support the preparation of monthly direct and indirect cash flow reports
• Ensure timely month-end closing and submission of financial reports and tax schedules
• Review financial reports and recommend improvements in adherence to group policies and local standards
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and participate in special accounting projects

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience in an accounting function
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Proficiency in SAP is mandatory
• Fluency in both English and the local language (verbal and written)
• Positive mindset with a proactive and professional attitude
