Assistant Accountant

Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting operations (purchases, sales, bank, miscellaneous)
• Perform account reconciliation and justification for general and supplier accounts
• Conduct bank reconciliations
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation
• Participate in monthly and annual closings
• Contribute to the preparation of balance sheets and income statements
• Manage inter-company invoicing
• Prepare and control VAT declarations
• Ensure consistency between general accounting and ERP management data
• Analyze accounting discrepancies with internal stakeholders
• Manage administrative follow-up for the vehicle fleet (contracts, insurance, technical inspections)
• Monitor costs and update tracking tables
• Manage contracts and expenses related to general services (energy, telecoms, maintenance)
• Ensure tax and regulatory compliance
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting procedures

Requirements

• Bac+2 degree in accounting
• Minimum 3 years of successful experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Sage 100 Comptabilité
• Mastery of VAT
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience using an accounting ERP
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence
• Rigorous and proactive mindset
