Assistant Accountant

Responsibilities

• Support the Travel Associates advisor network with financial queries and guidance
• Monitor and help mitigate financial risks across the business
• Assist with exception handling for automated processes related to sales and cost of sales transactions
• Perform reconciliations, including bank and third-party statements
• Process internal charges and manage at-risk items such as outstanding cash and audit ledgers
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency across finance workflows
• Assist with special projects, including system implementations and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial system requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a similar field (current students or recent graduates welcome)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Client, Helio, or Power BI
