About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of monthly performance reporting, latest estimates, and quarterly business monitoring.
  • Ensure timely and accurate statutory, group, regulatory, and joint venture partner reporting.
  • Provide expert guidance on financial accounting policies, including IFRS and Group reporting requirements.
  • Lead financial accounting treatments for material events such as impairments, decommissioning, and M&A activities.
  • Conduct reviews of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow to identify value opportunities and business risks.
  • Oversee key asset finance processes including Value of Work Done, Approval For Expenditure, and capex reporting.
  • Drive working capital performance by managing receivables, payables, and inventory balances.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, managing priorities across reporting cycles.

Requirements

  • At least 12 years of relevant professional experience in finance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as MBA, CA, CIMA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CS.
  • Strong expertise in financial and management reporting, performance appraisal, and IFRS.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and managing complex stakeholder environments.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Strong commercial, analytical, and communication skills.
