Asset Servicing Manager - Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities

• Manage the reconciliation and processing of positions related to Corporate Action and Proxy events
• Identify, summarize, and capture all incoming instructions pertaining to Corporate Action and proxy events
• Liaise with clients to solicit instructions and notify them of events received from vendor sources
• Coordinate with Depositories, Agents, Trustees, and Issuers to clarify complex event details and processing requirements
• Manage, track, and mitigate operational risks including client responses, customer funding, and payment allocation
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance metrics and conduct causal analysis to identify process improvements
• Act as the initial point of escalation for problem resolution and assist in system enhancement functions
• Provide full leadership and supervisory responsibility, including performance evaluations, hiring, and staff development

Requirements

• 5-8 years of related experience in asset servicing or operations
• 1-2 years of experience in people management
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• In-depth knowledge of Corporate Action and Proxy events
• Strong risk management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and diplomacy skills
