About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and mentor the asset retirement ENGINE team, providing guidance on workflow delivery, standardization, and automation.
- Oversee contractor performance to ensure fieldwork is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Lead environmental or decommissioning initiatives, including site assessments, remediation activities, and decommissioning management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners, such as regulators and consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage project schedules, costs, and project controls, ensuring alignment with milestones and budget approvals.
- Ensure all site activities comply with applicable regulations, company policies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with data and reporting technologists to track site metrics, remediation progress, and performance dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in asset retirement-related roles, such as remediation project management, offshore decommissioning, or operations engineering.
- Strong knowledge of decommissioning, environmental, and general asset retirement regulations.
- Expertise in project controls, including scheduling and cost management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a technical team.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams and with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration (MBA).
- Prior supervisory experience managing technical individuals across broad geographic and technical scopes.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale remediation projects.
- Fluency in US Federal and State environmental codes and regulations.
- Familiarity with digital tools for project management and environmental data tracking.
