Asset Protection Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal theft investigations adhering to policy and leadership guidance
• Identify theft trends using technology, reporting, and surveillance tactics
• Drive theft prevention culture by implementing action plans to reduce shortage
• Monitor theft activity using video systems and support internal cases
• Respond to incidents and submit appropriate documentation following AP standards
• Lead physical safety and secure culture for employees
• Assist safety, claims, and management teams during accident or injury investigations
• Assist with site emergency action plans and liaison with local first responders

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of retail or distribution asset protection experience
