Asset Protection Specialist

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in guests warmly while upholding compliance standards
• Monitor store entry, exit, and perimeters to ensure safety and comfort
• De-escalate situations with empathy and clear communication
• Respond appropriately to safety, security, and compliance incidents
• Support emergency procedures and conduct visual inspections per SOPs
• Escort customers and remain alert and mobile across the dispensary floor
• Share insights on guest interactions and safety concerns with leadership
• Support training of new APS team members

Requirements

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and compliance technology preferred
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
• Flexible availability for varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, and weekends
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Valid driver's license or state ID
• Must be 21 years or older and pass state-specific cannabis background checks
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods
• Capable of moving inventory and materials weighing up to 30 pounds
