Asset Protection Specialist

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage professional, compliant check-in experiences
• Maintain a visible, approachable presence to deter incidents and ensure safety
• Monitor store entry/exit and site perimeters for compliance and comfort
• De-escalate situations with empathy, tact, and clear communication
• Respond urgently and appropriately to safety, security, or compliance incidents
• Support emergency procedures including fire, evacuation, or weather response
• Conduct visual inspections and checks per SOPs to maintain a secure environment
• Collaborate with store teams and share insights on guest interactions and risks
• Support training of new APS team members on warm, professional behavior

Requirements

• 1+ year of customer-facing or concierge experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and compliance technology preferred
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
• Flexible availability for varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, and weekends
• Reliable, dependable attendance and valid driver's license or state ID
• Must be 21+ and pass all required background and state cannabis employment checks
• Ability to remain alert and responsive during extended periods
• Comfortable standing or walking for extended periods; able to lift up to 30 lbs
• Maintain a visible, mobile presence throughout the shift
