Asset Protection Specialist

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors with warmth and positivity to set the brand vibe
• Manage guest check-in with professionalism and compliance
• Provide concierge-level support by answering questions and directing traffic
• Serve as a visible presence to deter incidents and ensure order
• Monitor store entry/exit, perimeters, and premises for safety
• De-escalate situations using empathy and clear communication
• Support team members with safety, cleanliness, and guest flow
• Respond urgently to safety, security, or compliance incidents
• Support emergency procedures including fire and evacuation
• Conduct visual inspections per SOPs to maintain a hazard-free environment
• Foster relationships with store teams, leadership, and customers
• Share insights on guest interactions and security risks

Requirements

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems or compliance technology preferred
• Ability to work varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, and weekends
• Reliable and dependable attendance
• Ability to pass all required background checks and cannabis industry requirements
• Valid driver's license or state ID
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to remain alert and mobile for extended periods
• Ability to move inventory weighing up to 30 pounds
• Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience
• Strong commitment to hospitality-focused service
