Asset Protection Specialist

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors with warmth and positivity to set a welcoming atmosphere
• Manage guest check-in with professionalism while upholding compliance standards
• Provide concierge-level support by answering questions and directing traffic
• Monitor store entry/exit, site perimeters, and premises to ensure safety and order
• De-escalate situations using empathy, tact, and clear communication
• Support team members with safety, cleanliness, and guest flow management
• Respond urgently to safety, security, or compliance incidents
• Conduct visual inspections per SOPs to maintain a hazard-free environment
• Foster strong relationships and trust with store teams, leadership, and customers
• Support the training of new Asset Protection Specialist team members

Requirements

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology preferred
• Ability to work varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, and weekends
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must pass all required background checks and meet state cannabis employment requirements
• Valid driver's license or state ID
• Ability to remain alert and mobile for extended periods
• Ability to move inventory and materials weighing up to 30 pounds
• Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience
• Strong commitment to hospitality-focused service
