Asset Power Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical support for the development and maintenance of offshore fleet vessels and equipment, specifically focusing on Power, Automation, and Dynamic Positioning systems.
• Support Operations, Commercial, and Asset departments in identifying technical needs for vessel upgrades or new builds.
• Develop feasibility studies and conceptual designs for vessel power and automation systems to implement and verify Dynamic Positioning.
• Provide technical follow-up and management during the design and construction phases of fleet modifications and improvements.
• Support Pipelay/Flex equipment and prefabrication plants regarding electrical supply and control systems, including commissioning aspects.
• Establish guidelines for the standardization of hardware and software, including safety-related aspects for control systems design.
• Define execution plans to develop new capabilities and innovative solutions for new builds or equipment.
• Provide technical assistance in yards for upgrades or extraordinary maintenance execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience providing technical support for power and automation systems.
• Ability to conduct feasibility studies and develop conceptual designs.
• Experience with technical follow-up during the design and construction phases of engineering projects.
• Knowledge of hardware and software standardization for control systems.
• Proficiency in the English language.
