Asset Manager - Fund Accounting - Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day fund accounting operations and oversight teams to ensure NAV/yield accuracy
• Oversee staff activities, providing ongoing counsel, training, and performance reviews
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and SLAs through rigorous risk and control management
• Propose and implement workflow changes and technical solutions to improve productivity
• Identify and analyze operational risks and recommend necessary procedural changes
• Coordinate projects with Shared Services, COEs, and Client Operations teams
• Act as a focal point for client relationships and respond to inquiries effectively

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Fund Accounting
• Strong accounting background
• Experience leading automation initiatives
• Proven track record in risk and control management
• Ability to work North America shifts
• Graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a Big Four, fund house, or accounting firm
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA
• 8+ years of experience in a related accounting or finance field
• Deep understanding of financial services and investment products
