Asset Management Vice President

Responsibilities

• Take an ownership view of assets, markets, and business plans for each investment
• Monitor positions and review borrower/partner reporting to flag key issues
• Serve as the primary point of contact for operating partners, borrowers, and service providers
• Perform ad hoc analysis for loss mitigation, foreclosures, and REO disposition
• Drive internal operations including database management, cash reconciliation, and portfolio valuations
• Coordinate quarterly firmwide processes such as Valuation Committee and Portfolio Review
• Assist in setting up asset management processes for new investments and originations

Requirements

• Strong finance and modeling skills
• Deep knowledge of residential whole loans and securitized debt
• Highly motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in residential whole loan investing or asset management
• Proficiency in Excel, with experience in Tableau or Intex a plus
• Technical skills in database management and big data analytics using SQL or Python
• Ability to synthesize complex information into implementable recommendations
• Experience working in high-growth, high-volume environments
