Asset Management Legal Entity Controller - Analyst

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate month-end close processes under US GAAP and local GAAP for Singapore and Australia legal entities
• Perform analytical reviews of Balance Sheets and Income Statements to identify significant variances and business drivers
• Participate in monthly general ledger certification and substantiation processes
• Collaborate with the Regional MIS team on financial planning and analysis, including monthly Flash vs Actual reporting
• Assist with regulatory, tax, and management reporting requirements
• Support annual statutory and tax audits in Singapore and Australia
• Prepare meeting materials for management committees and regional finance control meetings
• Maintain high internal control standards and participate in projects impacting legal entities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
• Strong foundation in finance (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Deep knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to connect diverse issues and tasks
• Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships with global counterparts
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong control awareness
• Proactive approach to driving workflow efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a public accounting firm or a financial institution
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with dashboarding or automation tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or Python
• Familiarity with Risk-based Capital adequacy requirements for local regulatory reporting
