Asset Management - APAC Product Development - Vice President

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic product development initiatives and regional growth for the APAC Asset Management business.
• Monitor regulatory developments and product changes impacting APAC fund offering documents and coordinate impact assessments.
• Partner with global Product Development and Strategy teams in the Americas and EMEA to deliver international initiatives.
• Support product range reviews by identifying market gaps, opportunities, and commercial viability.
• Coordinate regional product governance forums, management reporting, and present new initiatives to committees.
• Develop program charters, business cases, project plans, and governance models to ensure effective delivery.
• Drive the APAC Product Development technology agenda, including prioritization and execution of related initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in financial services.
• Solid understanding of business and management functions within Asset Management.
• Strong project management skills with experience driving strategic projects in large organizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage senior management.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese or Mandarin.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new IT systems.
• Relevant professional qualifications, such as the CFA designation.
