Asset Management Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist with all asset management functions for the assigned loan servicing portfolio, including financial analysis, draw reviews, inspections, and loan events.
• Monitor property repairs and hazard insurance losses, including tracking repair deadlines and processing escrow reimbursements.
• Coordinate with various departments to facilitate cash transfers and maintain reserve and escrow accounts.
• Produce accurate analysis of operating statements and financial statements for multifamily properties, identifying trends and variances.
• Perform or review property inspections to verify collateral maintenance and identify life safety or deferred maintenance issues.
• Communicate loan performance issues to asset managers and engage with external parties such as borrowers, lenders, and legal counsel.
• Maintain loan and property-level data within the servicing portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Foundational knowledge of mortgage banking, loan servicing, and financial statement analysis.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
• 1+ years of commercial mortgage servicing experience.
• Experience with third-party commercial or multifamily servicing.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial and data manipulation functions.
