About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver asset data and information management services, technical advice, and support to internal and external clients.
  • Apply data and spatial analysis techniques to support infrastructure planning, asset management, and project delivery.
  • Develop and enhance digital tools, dashboards, reporting solutions, and spatially enabled asset systems.
  • Support the operation and improvement of asset information systems, including RAMM, GIS, and associated databases.
  • Assist with project planning, scope development, fee estimates, and project delivery plans.
  • Manage project tasks and reporting to ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver data-driven and spatially informed solutions.
  • Contribute to proposals, tenders, business development, and client engagement activities.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Geospatial Technologies, Engineering, Information Management, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in asset information management, geospatial analysis, data management, or infrastructure asset management.
  • Experience working with asset management, GIS, or information management systems and databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Full New Zealand Driver Licence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing dashboards, reporting tools, or digital solutions.
