Asset Based Finance Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Support the build-out of the operational support model for structured ABF investing activities
• Interface with insurance company clients regarding pipeline management, asset setup, and cash management
• Design and document client onboarding processes
• Perform trade capture, cash management, forecasting, and drive trade settlement
• Support deal execution by partnering with investing professionals, counsel, tax, and compliance teams
• Ensure appropriate liquidity and adherence to investment cash and settlement controls
• Perform timely setup of new investments in order management, accounting, and reporting systems
• Partner with Engineering to design and build scalable operational capabilities

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in operations, treasury, or middle/back-office at a buy-side organization
• Experience with highly structured transactions such as securitizations, asset-based financings, or structured loans
• Deep knowledge of insurance and/or asset/liability management operations
• Strong Excel skills and ability to build policies and procedures
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Advent Geneva, Allvue, Black Mountain, Clearwater, or Aladdin
• Strong understanding of internal controls and industry practices
• Ability to synthesize sophisticated information into implementable solutions
