Asset Artist

Responsibilities

• Develop CG assets that match the look of realistic practical assets within production schedules
• Create high quality assets from concept to final model and surfacing optimized for real-time environments
• Collaborate with Pipeline, VAD, and Lighting teams on characters, environments, vehicles, and props
• Utilize Unreal Engine advancements to expedite asset development and create project-based materials
• Solve technical challenges within DCC programs and Unreal Engine
• Maintain consistency and quality across all meshes, textures, and shaders
• Generate documentation for content creation processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with real-time content creation
• Proficient experience with Unreal Engine (character creation, set dressing, Landscapes, PCGs, Splines)
• Practiced knowledge in DCC programs such as Maya, 3ds Max, Zbrush, Houdini, or Blender
• Strong artistic understanding of anatomy, proportions, scale, lighting, and composition
• Experience with optimization processes for high-fidelity assets
• Experience working in a Volume, LED Stage, Mocap stage, or with Virtual Cameras
• Experience with photogrammetry and scanning
• Ability to work in various art styles and follow art direction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with lighting, sequencer, camera, layout, fx, and animation in Unreal Engine
• Experience with advanced rigging and control rigs within DCC and Unreal Engine
