Asset and Liquidity Management Trader

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze sovereign bond markets, primarily in Hungary and Romania, to provide investment recommendations.
• Execute bond purchase and sale transactions through auctions and OTC markets.
• Prepare weekly steering committee materials regarding market developments and portfolio performance.
• Manage FX trading positions in CEE currencies and execute money market transactions including deposits, repos, and treasury bills.
• Build and maintain relationships with international and regional banking partners.
• Negotiate and implement treasury-related agreements such as ISDA and GMRA.
• Develop initiatives to enhance the Group’s liquidity management strategy and investment returns.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in portfolio management, corporate treasury, banking, or risk management.
• University degree in Finance or Economics (MSc in investments or CFA is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, banking products, and portfolio valuation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using a Bloomberg Terminal.
