About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the acquisition and management of land and industrial assets, including rural and urban soils, for various Iberdrola business units in Spain.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of asset acquisition, including physical and legal analysis, environmental and urban planning compatibility, and negotiation.
  • Oversee expropriation procedures, defining strategies from the Declaration of Public Utility (DUP) through to final legal resolutions.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes for land assets in inorganic acquisition operations.
  • Supervise legal and patrimonial analyses, reviewing contractual documents and interacting with corporate legal services.
  • Manage relationships with official bodies to ensure legal-registry and administrative alignment (Property Registry and Cadastre).
  • Oversee asset valuation processes, including indemnities, damages, and external appraisals.
  • Define criteria for the contracting and management of patrimonial and land-related service providers.
  • Provide reporting on asset management and activities under your responsibility.

Requirements

  • University degree in Law or Engineering.
  • Proven experience in real estate management, including asset acquisition, property structures, and legal regularization.
  • High level of specialization in urban planning, expropriations, real estate contracts, and land registry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex legal and technical processes.
  • Proficiency in modern IT tools, including PowerBI, GIS systems, and data management.
  • Master's degree, Postgraduate in real estate, or MBA is highly valued.
