About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, and reporting of student assessments, including OSCEs, written MCQ tests, and portfolios.
- Assist faculty with the selection of high-quality assessment materials and the blueprinting of tools to match curricular learning objectives.
- Score written exams and OSCEs, perform item analysis, and compile student performance reports.
- Manage the examination item bank, including item tagging and documentation.
- Oversee the delivery of remedial and supplemental exams in accordance with university policy.
- Prepare statistical reports for the Student Promotions Committee and individual score reports for students.
- Participate in curriculum development committees and assessment-related projects to support continuous program improvement.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to maintain precision under pressure.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with survey design, educational testing, and measurement.
- Experience with statistical analysis packages (e.g., SPSS, R) and database concepts.
- Experience in item and examination development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to compose professional reports and presentations.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
