About the role

Responsibilities

  • Use torque wrenches and other tools to assemble critical pressure seals, fittings, flanges, and other hardware
  • Operate high-pressure hydraulic and hydrostatic pumps within a blast enclosure to safely pressure test fluid components
  • Use sonicating immersion cleaning tanks, flushing equipment, and pressure washing equipment for precision cleaning
  • Use insulating foams and fiberglass insulation to thermally insulate sensitive components
  • Escalate production blockers to leadership for timely resolution
  • Work alongside engineering to resolve technical hardware non-conformances and implement corrective actions
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Experience working with heavy parts, mechanical assembly, and fastening
  • Experience using fluid equipment such as sonicating immersion cleaning tanks, flushing equipment, or high-pressure hydrostatic pumps
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong documentation ethic and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in pressure testing and precision cleaning for aerospace products
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced aerospace production environment
