About the role
Responsibilities
- Use torque wrenches and other tools to assemble critical pressure seals, fittings, flanges, and other hardware
- Operate high-pressure hydraulic and hydrostatic pumps within a blast enclosure to safely pressure test fluid components
- Use sonicating immersion cleaning tanks, flushing equipment, and pressure washing equipment for precision cleaning
- Use insulating foams and fiberglass insulation to thermally insulate sensitive components
- Escalate production blockers to leadership for timely resolution
- Work alongside engineering to resolve technical hardware non-conformances and implement corrective actions
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements
- Experience working with heavy parts, mechanical assembly, and fastening
- Experience using fluid equipment such as sonicating immersion cleaning tanks, flushing equipment, or high-pressure hydrostatic pumps
- Strong communication skills
- Strong documentation ethic and organization skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in pressure testing and precision cleaning for aerospace products
- Experience operating in a fast-paced aerospace production environment
