Assembly & Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing support for assembly and test activities within the Defense Manufacturing team
• Ensure the performance of preventive maintenance programs for equipment and tools
• Create manufacturing work orders, work plans, test plans, and test procedures
• Specify tooling used for assembly and test processes
• Provide support to test engineering in the conduct of fuel system component testing
• Ensure calibration of tools and test instrumentation is up to date
• Interface with suppliers providing services to equipment
• Drive long-term improvements in quality, cost, and delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aviation Engineering)
• Graduating between May 2026 and August 2026
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• U.S. Citizenship required (no sponsorships available)
• Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively
• Commitment to maintaining quality standards and following quality systems
• Capability to work in a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate
• Experience with electronic engine controls
