Assembly Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision optical components, electronics, and mechanical parts for advanced laser systems
• Perform routine inspection, cleaning, and measurements of parts to meet specifications
• Execute assembly and alignment techniques, including adhesive dispensing and curing
• Follow strict cleanroom practices and protocols
• Package mechanical assemblies for shipment
• Maintain accurate records and data entry using Windows and Office applications
• Adhere to all health, safety, and 6S organizational standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (2-year degree or technical school graduate preferred)
• 1-2 years of manufacturing assembly experience preferred
• High level of manual dexterity and fine motor control for handling sensitive optics
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions without variance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Proficiency with basic Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in cleanroom environments
• Knowledge of lasers and electro-static discharge (ESD) protocols
• Experience using torque-limiting tools and ultrasonic cleaning equipment
