Assembly Technician

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assembly equipment, including welders, dies, trunnions, and assembly fixtures
• Perform manual assembly, welding, tapping, stamping, pressing, crimping, and riveting operations
• Follow Standard Operation Sheets (SOS) and Job Element Sheets (JES) to ensure production quality
• Load and unload parts and perform die change and set-up duties
• Conduct light, routine maintenance on assigned equipment
• Complete necessary production paperwork, including start-up checklists, scrap records, and quality assurance checks
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment using 5S principles

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand safety rules, work instructions, and company policies
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals)
• Sound judgment and the ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
