About the role
Responsibilities
- Produce magnetic bearing assemblies, high speed electric motors, and drive panels
- Utilize hand tools, epoxies, and adhesives to produce electro-mechanical subassemblies
- Strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wires according to industry standards
- Perform electrical testing on components, subassemblies, and assemblies
- Use machines for heating, pressing, and balancing parts
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety excellence standards
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers and pliers
- Basic computer skills, including experience with email, Excel, and Word
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work with various epoxies and handle metals including aluminum, copper, bronze, and steel
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of assembly experience in a light industrial setting
