Assembly Technician II (Electrical)

Responsibilities

• Assemble diverse subassemblies and finalized products for general-purpose machines.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics to determine assembly procedures.
• Install and troubleshoot electrical components including switches, sensors, connectors, and wiring harnesses.
• Perform functional tests, quality checks, and mechanical adjustments to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Use various hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to verify dimensional specifications and alignment.
• Document assembly processes, test results, and quality issues encountered during production.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment following 6S principles.
• Assist in the training of new assemblers and record daily production data.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in machine building.
