Podium Automation is reimagining industrial control panel manufacturing through software-enabled design and automated fabrication. We're building technology to create a new industrial supply chain - reducing lead times for critical electrical equipment from months to days.

Responsibilities

• Modify enclosures to include cutouts for panel mounted devices
• Retrieve components from stockroom and help maintain stockroom inventory levels
• Mount components to the panel and wire them together based on work instructions
• Complete inspection procedures to ensure panels were assembled correctly
• Assist with preparing completed panels for shipping and loading/unloading goods
• Test new methods and operate prototype automated equipment to provide feedback for process improvement

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanically inclined with experience in light sheet metal modification
• Strong attention to detail in following written instructions
• Understanding of electrical fundamentals (AC vs DC, overcurrent protection, wiring sizing)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work on feet for 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift items up to 25 lbs
• Available to work in-person in Brooklyn, NY

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a UL 508A panel shop or with industrial control panels
• Familiarity with DTM, E3, EPLAN, or AutoCAD Electrical
