Assembly Technician

About the Company

H3X Technologies is a U.S.-based manufacturer of electric motors for sustainable aviation, marine, industrial, and defense applications. They develop high-performance integrated motor drives with power densities as high as 12 kW/kg, utilizing proprietary manufacturing processes for motor stacking, winding, and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble production motor drive systems and sub-systems
• Handle, mix and work with process chemicals and hazardous materials
• Assist in maintenance and upkeep of production processing equipment
• Read, comprehend and perform technical processes as defined by internal work instructions
• Coordinate with manufacturing & design engineers regarding assembly process issues and improvements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of hands-on mechanical system experience in fastening, epoxy application, component fabrication, or wiring harness manufacturing
• Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and conceptualize processes from CAD models
• Proficiency in comprehending and improving manufacturing processes
• Ability to access CUI/ITAR/EAR controlled information

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assembling flight qualified aerospace parts
• Skills in Brazing, Soldering, Milling, Turning, or Epoxy encapsulation
• Experience with PCB assembly and wire harnessing
• Experience with GD&T standards (e.g. ASME Y14.5)
• Experience with AS9100 supply chain practices
• Associates or technical trade degree
