Assembly Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and continuously improve on-site manufacturing processes
• Use hand tools and PPE to drill, tap, and fabricate metal per work instructions
• Complete Quality Check Sheets and photograph projects for quality history
• Package, palletize, and band products for shipment per packing requirements
• Update the Team Status Board with work order status and safety notes
• Load and unload trucks and move materials using pallet jacks or forklifts

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 0–2+ years of experience reading mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or stoop for 8+ hours daily
• Participation in a safety-sensitive drug and alcohol program
• Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience checking and modifying drawings
• Forklift certification or experience
• Proficiency with drills, impact drivers, torque wrenches, angle grinders, saws, and nail guns
• Electro-mechanical assembly experience
• ISO 9001:2015 experience
